LSU Cans Kelly

I have a feeling that we are going to see these contracts move away from expensive buyouts and coaches just having higher annual salaries. This is not sustainable.

there’s got to be something put in place where if you stink they can let you go with cause so you get nothing.

And yes something other than conduct detrimental to the program or university

The FSU job more than likely will be open too. Brent Key and Clark Lea are about to be very rich men

Considering everything else-I kinda think the Seminoles give Norvell one more year unless he loses out or something.

Double that if the Texas job opens up.

Schools are just gonna hiring the guy the got fired in the next state over at the rate things are going .

Paying a $50 million buyout and ending up with another crap coach you have to fire in 3 years would be a program killer and FSU doesn't have the alumni base some schools do

As things are, FSU would be getting like choice #5 at this point

Yes. Guaranteed annual salaries. Like take Franklin or Kelly for example. They should get paid double their annual number with no buyout. They get paid majorly while likely getting another job and the schools aren’t paying massive buyouts to fire and hire coaches.

This isn’t the SEC circa 2015 and money is and always will be an issue.

No it won’t. LSU is the one job in the country where the sitting governor will make sure that funding for the football program will be there guaranteed.

There’s a reason why it’s coming out that Landry was heavy handed in this whole ordeal last night / this morning.

Not sure I’d want Landry running a kool-aid stand, much less a major college football program.

The one place I could see the tax payers paying more to cover the cost of “exciting Saturdays again”
