The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Dang.

We're losing the best we are able right now. What else does the NFL want from us? Lol
I said it earlier, but we have the 10th or so hardest SOS at the moment.

When any non-playoff teams have the same win-loss record, the team who has the easier SOS gets the higher pick.

So either the other teams have to win more or you have to start wanting the teams we play this year to lose more games each weekend.

Sad that you would even explain that…

Can this team forfeit the rest of the season? A high school can beat this pathetic group of flag football players. If I was a coach no way I would touch this clueless Adams franchise. Look at all the pathetic coaches we’ve hired besides Vrabel.

Bless their hearts. They're doing the best they can.

So....... Going into the off-season we are going to need 2 corners, a safety, edge rusher and linebacker.

Offense should be better, if like an experienced #1 but you don't get those without paying through the nose. So you draft and hope?

What else on offense, a tight end? Running back? I'm not happy with the o line, you make a move there?

This did not happen and you broke your promise anyway

I didn't respond to anyone who argued with me 3 years ago.

And he absolutely sucked. The Titans wasted a 2nd round pick, got lousy play, and will be lucky (but aren't guaranteed) to get a 5-6 swap in return.

But, by all means, please enlighten me as to how McCreary was a good pick.

McCreary has been a solid starter and was by far our best pick in that draft. You are distorting reality in service of a 3-year-old bad take

Yeah I would avoid the solid starter part too. If you were right he would have been cut, not traded

His contract is up. There is no point cutting him because he's gone either way. If he was worth a crap, the Titans (who have the most cap space in the league) would have worked to resign him. Instead, the Rams acquired him for practically no risk while the Titans traded him with the distinct possibility of no reward. If the conditions of the pick swap don't get met, then the Titans basically "cut" him by another name.

He was not a "solid" starter. He was a starter for the Titans, who suck.

Completely backwards. His contract being up means there is little reason to trade for him instead of just waiting 5 months, yet a good team did it anyway

The Rams traded for him for basically nothing. If they thought so highly of him, why not offer more than a conditional pick swap, and why didn't the Titans demand more?
