Mateer is turnover prone and we force turnovers quite a bit.

Now the only potential losses be Mizzou and Texas. Most likely they would split and still be 7-1. For TN to be considered in playoffs we need to Alabama and Georgia to be in the SEC championship with a minimum of 7-1 and everyone else behind them 6-2. In that scenario TN would be 3rd in SEC standings.
Now, after this week there could be 4 SEC teams with a 7-1 SEC Record. If that happens TN as a 6-2 SEC record has ZERO shot to make playoffs.

ole miss and aTm are not losing 2 games. there's going to be 4 teams in the SEC with 1 or fewer losses (I don't think aTm will be undefeated tho)

and Georgia and Bama can afford to have a second loss and still have the tie breaker over Tennessee.
