If someone from the outside is hired they usually bring their own staff or hire their staff... Holdovers are very rare... I agree though Frank is the one we need to keep definitely..I don’t wanna lose Josh and Frank, I really don’t wanna lose Frank, pitching is huge in this conference.

Believe Elander leaves if a outside guy is hired..
While true, I think Elander is more like Kirby Smart.
I don’t think most people realize how integral he’s been to our success. Not saying I endorse the following controversial view, but I have a buddy who follows the team closely who believes that Elander has played a larger role in our success than most people think (clearly he's played a role, that's not the controversial part), but my friend in fact believes that TV could sometimes get in the way of things. Again, I have a really hard time believing that, but just throwing it out there from someone who is friendly with multiple people in the program.

And in that one year he made the CWS finals.
Y’all are weird with this Elander or bust thing.
This would be a very good hire if it happens.
I don’t think it’s weird. We have an elite roster, elite recruiting classes, and elite support staff on campus right now. If you clean house, it’s likely that recruiting classes is pillaged and we lose Frank and Elander. Hiring Elander is probably the safest way to keep this train rolling.
I get it, but prior to LSU, Jay Johnson’s entire resume consisted of the states of Arizona, California, and Nevada. He’s doing pretty well in the southeast.
