You raised 'er right, son.So me and the wife are taking our daughter on a guided tour of UT by the admissions office this weekend. We're all excited about that. My daughter also told me that she didn't even realize that she had also been invited to tour the campus of the university of Florida as well. I asked why she didn't know about the Florida invite and she said that her email automatically threw it in her spam folder lol. Even Sally knows Florida is nothing but spam.![]()
That’s a good thought. Let’s keep this baseball momentum going. I hope people still keep going to games. We needed a Bruce Pearl of baseball to wake us up, and Tony did beyond what anyone could have dreamed.
Now that we're awake, we don't need that anymore. Elander is a perfect fit at the right time to be the stoic leader that this mature program needs.
Every Arkansas fan I've talked to around here says we'd be crazy not to give Elander a shot.We needed a Bruce Pearl of baseball to wake us up, and Tony did beyond what anyone could have dreamed.

Elander is so subdued. I love how when he sends someone home he just points. No arm motions, no antics. Simple, clear directions. That’s a good thought. Let’s keep this baseball momentum going. I hope people still keep going to games.
I hope so...I just think this whole thing is stupid. Everybody is blaming this one or blaming that one...but the idiot I REALLLY REALLY hate and blame for all of this is that idiot moron Buster Posey.Tony's statement today is that he isn't selling his house in Knoxville and wants to come back to work at TN in some capacity when his MLB career is over.
Elander is a more traditional baseball guy. I've been thinking the last couple days and I think you were right in saying that TV was the spark we needed, but his style is probably more suited for the pro brand of baseball, power pitching and hitting jacks. That was fine for the Vols teams TV has had the past few seasons but it it is probably more likely we have teams in the future that can't Strike out 15 and hit 5 homers every game.Elander is so subdued. That’s what we could expect from him. Almost the opposite of Tony.
