Elander is so subdued. I love how when he sends someone home he just points. No arm motions, no antics. Simple, clear directions.

That’s what we could expect from him. Almost the opposite of Tony.

I hope so...I just think this whole thing is stupid. Everybody is blaming this one or blaming that one...but the idiot I REALLLY REALLY hate and blame for all of this is that idiot moron Buster Posey.

There are several REALLY good reasons this has never been done before...as mad as I am at Tony, I do understand why he feels like he has to try it if some idiot is stupid enough to offer him one of these jobs.

And this is not a knock on Tony...it's just that managing a MLB team is completely different than running a college baseball program. Imagine all the thousands of little details and experience that guys pick up from spending years in the pro game or rising up through the managerial ranks...Tony knows none of that, he just skipped the line and has earned zero trust and respect from professional players...and that will cause problems

I just think this is monumentally stupid and asinine on Poseys part....and the only ones hurt in all of this...are us...we are always the ones that get 💩 on. They all ask us to trust them, to give them our hearts and hard earned money in ever increasing amounts...and in the end we get left twisting in the wind wondering what will happen next.

I really hope Tony doesn't go to a rival program after this LARP is over with....that is going to really really hurt.

Elander is a more traditional baseball guy. I've been thinking the last couple days and I think you were right in saying that TV was the spark we needed, but his style is probably more suited for the pro brand of baseball, power pitching and hitting jacks. That was fine for the Vols teams TV has had the past few seasons but it it is probably more likely we have teams in the future that can't Strike out 15 and hit 5 homers every game.
I wish TV the best. Maybe he will a spark for the Giants.
