Lots of heads are going to roll. They are questioning why the NBA allowed players to continue playing after sports books alerted the league of potential illegal betting activities the day of those specific bets. And on top of that they have the Clippers salary cap circumvention investigation ongoing. Good thing they signed huge tv contracts because a lot of that money is going to be spent in courtrooms.

Stephen A is an idiot. This stuff dates back to at least 2019, the year after sports gambling was voted to be legalized across the country. We all knew it was going to create integrity issues but they pushed it through anyways because the sports leagues realized they could profit from it. And now the leagues are in bed with one of the cardinal sins in sports. The insider trading to beat the system that is going on across all sports is a huge problem. And honestly there really isn’t a way to combat it until after the crime has been committed so idk what they can do.
