Bet we're told every coach this side of Jay Johnson is burning up the phones with White, but White will end up choosing some "bright up and comer just looking with baseball coaching talent". Or he might just hire Rich Wallace and try to sell us on that hire, too.

I for one don't blame TV or DW for this. As for Vitello, it was coming and I'm glad it was a MLB job and not Arkansas or LSU. He'd accomplished everything here at UT. It was time for another challenge and he was offered an unprecedented move. He took it at a pay cut. This wasn't about money. It was about another mountain to climb.

Thank you TV and DW for the NC, something we don't see in Knoxville very often (once in a generation). I bought my NC gear and wear it proudly. I will take care of it and continue to wear it. I still have a championship t-shirt and sweatshirt from my Reds championship in 1990...seriously. I knew it wouldn't come again anytime soon

If the right Head Coach is hired, I will not stress about recruiting...

Lots of heads are going to roll. They are questioning why the NBA allowed players to continue playing after sports books alerted the league of potential illegal betting activities the day of those specific bets. And on top of that they have the Clippers salary cap circumvention investigation ongoing. Good thing they signed huge tv contracts because a lot of that money is going to be spent in courtrooms.
