Tennessee Softball 2025

Based on fall, I think our OF is set with Taelyn, Sophia, and Gabby. It’s the IF that has some moving pieces. Maddi will probably play 3B or DP when not pitching. Ella, Emma, Meredith, and Makenzie are a nice IF. Bella (injured) has to bring her bat and Amayah (who isn’t dressed) also factors in. 7 for 5 spots (IF +DP), some nice depth.

Could Maddi be the best hitting pitcher we have ever had and will she continue to both pitch and hit during the season. Appears she should.
If she can play third base defensively she is a very solid replacement for Pannell. Glad to see MacKenzie back looks like her and Doyle will battle for the first base job. Ella will probably end up at second base she is really soldi there.

The team may not have a superstar hitter, but it looks like it has six or seven reliable consistent hitters and that is all you need to score runs.

We would know better if Karen had let many of them hit. I will say Maddi looks like Zaida to me when she bats. She is a strong girl to begin with but she has a power swing that's impressive.

It will be a great opportunity for players to step-up their game and become the next superstar

Didn't know that Emma Clarke hit for the cycle that is impressive against any competition.

She smashed a ball so hard it was like a laser to left center. Wonder how high that fence is? We also had a couple of hitters dent the wall and left field pole they hit the ball so hard. If we are comparing hitting from last Fall Ball to this one, we are definitely hitting the ball more solidly.

She was a very good contact hitter last season, but had no power or pop. Looks like she has been building strength showing a lot more power in the bat this fall.

That's a good point. I forgot Karen doesn't normally let pitchers hit so we don't really know if some of them were good hitters. She may not be needed as a pitcher this season anyway so she will be in the batting lineup.

Speaking of the game on Wed night, was anyone else on 275 6-6:15pm time frame and witness that crazy high speed car chase? I had to pull off on the little bit of left shoulder there was or the police we going to run me over. 7 or 8 flew right past me after the lead car in the chase. I wonder what that was all about.

I believe I remember Ashley Rogers winning an internal Home Run contest
