It’s such an easy decision, because it’s a quick way to restore a bit of faith in the fanbase and if Elander fails people won’t blame Danny.

I don’t think you have to win a press conference but you certainly can’t lose them. That is one of the worst press conferences on the hill in a long time. Unprepared and couldn’t talk without stumbling. Randy and Donde better get heavily involved or the athletic department could be in for some rough times.

This isn’t NFL, Saban was given personnel decisions by Dolphins, so he still worked with college teams all the time. MLB managers have little to do with other college programs, that is done by GM and president of operations. So it would be 2-3 years since he had Eve really sniffed recruiting.

It's not even a critique of Danny White, if I'm being honest. I could care less if he and Tony didn't get along. They didn't have to be friends, but a good athletic director recognizes that his success is tied to the success of the programs on campus. He had ONE program that won a national championship in the last 20 years and he couldn't even bring himself to meet face to face with Tony since the news broke Saturday. That's maddening. It's Ego.

Tony B is a dumba$$! Always has been and always will be! Whoever listens to him especially daily has lost a ton of brain cells through the years! Just never understood someone so stuck on himself actually being helpful to promote sports at a school. Prob why he has another idiot John Adams on there.

The exact opposite. I hope that he’s wildly successful, if not only because I have a ton of gratitude for what TV has done for our program, but because then it keeps him from being lured back to the college game by another school.
