not saying I do.........curious what would you change

It's a matter of opinion but I'd rank Oakland and Alcoa above Baylor.

I don't know much about Southwind so I'll leave it at that.

I think Maryville is too low and they'll be in the 6A final.

Good win for Antioch against FRA but their district is so bad that I still have doubts.

As much as I hate to say it, any list that doesn't include Nashville Christian in the top 20 ain't serious. They beat Ensworth and are undefeated.

Chattanooga Tyner is the best team in 3A and it’s not close. Nashville Christian is a Top 50 team nationally and Tyner took them to the very last drive of the game.

Appreciate you guys posting scores and rankings. HS football is awesome.

Oakland and Alcoa both have played out-of-state competition in their history as has Baylor.
Maryville never will. Cowards.

CPA and Knoxville Catholic maybe their only common opponents. And Transitive Property isn’t 100% reliable.
But:
Baylor 48- CPA 7
Oakland 28 - CPA 21

This season Baylor can play with most teams in America. The CPA/Oakland contest was pretty close. CPA played Baylor after already losing multiple times. So motivation definitely played into that 48-7 score.

Still…

I went back and looked at CPA schedule. The game against Oakland was the first game of the year. CPA went through a grueling schedule after that including the Baylor game. I do agree all we have are common opponents. Baylor may be the better team, but I'm not so sure either wouldn't lose to Alcoa. Good debate.

Remind me though, didn't Baylor/Maryville scrimmage this year?

I'm not sure whose the best in 3A. Losing to NCS is not a bad loss but in general NCS schedule is extremely weak. The Ensworth victory stands out but Ensworth could still finish 7-3 or 6-4.

I wouldn't put NCS top 50 nationally when they may not be top 10 in Tennessee. This is my opinion. Schedule is too bad when best wins are close calls against mid level competition.
