Tony Vitello to SF Giants (Confirmed)

Please? Anyone?

Summary: Danny does not want to allocate the NIL funds at the same level other SEC baseball teams are. Instead, he allocated more funds to women’s basketball… effectively pushing baseball down to 4th in terms of allocation of resources. Have had some issues with funding of current transfer players who aren’t getting the funds they were promised. That’s it in a nutshell

True, but I don’t know why you would report on him watching it on his TV lol.
At this point they’re reporting on whether his most recent deuce was orange or not.

Which, if it was, means he’s staying. And we win many more nattys. Just as soon as a doctor fixes his intestinal issue.

He will lose this fanbase and eventually get himself fired if he keep that mindset.

With practice starting in 20 minutes, I would assume this means we won’t hear anything till at least 5:00 if the news doesn’t break soon. Hard to believe he’d deliver the news he’s leaving right before practice and a scrimmage. Unless he plans to cancel.

Claim is Danny shorted Tony on NIL money and gave it to Coach Caldwell. Totally a rumor which some believe and some don't so the ones who do want to fire Danny White.

From the looks of attendance and revenue looks like Nil should've been distributed evenly to the two sports. Men's basketball and Football should've been the top two with of course Football leaving everyone in the dust.

As much as Tony loves Vol football and basketball, I don't think he would have a problem with those two being the top two. It's the Lady Vols thing that is apparently stuck in his craw

No one is saying that Tony isn’t a commodity. He is, and I’m not surprised he’s being pursued, even if it’s unprecedented. The issue is whether or not there are factors that have created an atmosphere where Tony is open and even inviting interest. More importantly, whether those factors are directly attributable to the Athletic Director. White made a conscious decision with apportioning revenue sharing money away from baseball and toward women’s basketball. That’s a fact. The previous tensions between the two are not new. Do I think Danny flung open the door? No. If Danny White opened that door even an inch, then he he’s made a colossal mistake and needs to go.
Show me where the bad man touched you…

I think he'd be crazy to go through practice, then a scrimmage and then leave. That just seems odd. If he's already accepted, Giants are going to release that before 4pm ET so it saturates the news before east coast business closes. The clock is ticking.

Sure I resepect it. Doesn't mean I care to watch it or want to see it elevated over watchable sports.
Well, I quit watching baseball when it stopped being the sport I grew up with. (Starting pitcher as protagonist, and great balance between hitting and pitching.) The only baseball I watch is the Vols, and only because of what Tony's made it.

I also watch no women's basketball unless the Lady Vols are involved. It is dull next to the men's game. But I DO watch the Lady Vols, and have for years. And, for me, Kim's teams so far have been immensely entertaining (i.e. "watchable ").

No one took money away from baseball and gave it to women's basketball.

The plan for the distribution of revenue was based on the revenue each sport generates for the University. Tony's argument is that baseball is being severly undervalued right now and that the league needs to use their enormous leverage to go back to ESPN and get a better TV deal. He's not even complaining about how much Lady Vols Basketball is getting. He's complaining because baseball's portion of the revenue is based on outdated data that shouldn't apply to the current reality of college sports and the peerless popularity of the SEC.
