I think it's only conceived as "epic" on bluesky and in liberal circles. Most people see it as yet another temper tantrum against Trump and the timing after Trump ended the Gaza War makes it even less effective. The weird kiddie Halloween costumes and hateful rhetoric also don't help the perception. To each his own but these protests aren't accomplishing anything meaningful or changing people's opinions to support your causes. I just hope the rhetoric doesn't motivate yet another liberal left wing would be assassin to take another shot at someone he disagrees with politically.

These people really need to grow up at some point, although that horse left the barn long ago. I'm no big fan of Trump, but the fools protesting whatever the hell it is that you're protesting obviously only want the Kings that gave you this:
  • Mask mandates for years after any threat was gone - No Kings!
  • Social distancing - 6’ feet apart to "make you safe" for how many years? - No Kings!
  • Censorship and propaganda via government agencies, such as CISA - No Kings!
  • Censorship and propaganda funded by the US government - No Kings!
  • Lockdowns - No Kings!
  • No early treatments for a respiratory disease allowed - No Kings!
  • School closures for years on end - No Kings!
  • Mandatory vaccinations - No Kings!
  • No religious exemptions - No Kings!
  • No medical exemptions - No Kings!
  • Stay inside - No Kings!
  • Shut down small businesses, but big box stores like Walmart, as well as bars, strip joints, and casinos stayed open - No Kings!
  • No church services - No Kings!
  • Hotline to tattle on your neighbors - No Kings!
  • No large family gatherings - No Kings!
  • Compliance was compulsory - No Kings!

I think it is important for people to continue to show their disgust with trump.

I find him to be even more reprehensible today than I did 12 years ago.

I voted against Hillary in 2016. Glad I did.

I voted against Biden in 2020. Glad I did.

I voted against Kamala in 2024. Glad I did.
Happy enough with the results this term that I’d vote FOR Trump next time, if things stayed the same and I were able to.
