What I have read is that he asked what needed to happen for the project to move forward and he was told that, all that needed to happen is to get the necessary permits approved.

When he asked how long that would take they asked him what time he wanted to approve the permits.

True story. Not sure where all the "illegal" talk came for. The executive branch is in charge of management and Trump is its head.

all commercial airports in the US are owned by the US government. WW2 and later, kinda a sister project to the interstates.

depending on what is being done where there are about 5 different agencies you will have to work with. the most restrictive is the FAA as anything in the direct flight path and some other areas has to go thru them. and not just the local guys in the tower.

No, we should demand honesty of our public servants. Complaining about blatant dishonesty is meaningful and very justified. That it's so often necessary is a poor reflection on society. Complaining about the lack of chastity in a brothel would just be silly.

It would be a better event if it was directed at the fed govt and not just the Trump admin. Seems pretty hypocritical given our history

I agree in part with this. People should always protest and call attention to government overreach.

Its just that Trump has been so much worse than any of the others in that he turns every part of government he can into partisan hackery with the sole purpose to do his bidding in this four year revenge tour. Add in some of the toxic cabal he surrounds himself with and it just makes it that much worse.

The moves made by the Biden admin during COVID should have been much more concerning. Of it's about wars then I doubt they were out against Obama

This is simply a partisan left rally disguised as caring about the country (?). They really only care that their ideas are implemented

Biden’s domestic policies were much more damaging and dangerous.

Trump’s foreign policy ineptness is worse than Biden though.

I live in Charlotte. Theres one scheduled for Charlotte this weekend and surrounding smaller cities as well. If a decent number of young people say they're actually going...others will go just to have something to do. Thats the pattern these days, to use IG etc to post about a "meet up" (or intersection/parking lot "take over") then try to get as many of their friends as possible to share it in order to generate involvement. Young adults and teens are a little different these days socially compared to their parents. Far less likely to hang out in person or with friend groups, mostly mortified to actually walk up to members of the opposite sex in person and start talking etc. Overwhelming majority of communication happens via S.M. messaging or text rather than phone calls or in person. Seems weird to me but things are always changing.

As far as the event goes, I am sure hard-core Lefty Dems and bored teens will show up. Judging by how many of my 24yo and almost 18yos friends are very Conservative in mindset...as well as all the teens in Churches tend to be...I dont think there will be tons of people there unless its to socialize/party. Thankfully we live in the Bible belt and pointless waste of time meetings like this are the closest thing to riots, civil unrest, or political violence that we have to worry about down South. Giant mobs of crazy Dems and bored kids aren't gonna Burn, Loot, Murder their way across the Southeast. Law enforcement and sane locals aren't putting up with that nonsense.

" NO KINGS!! " - the same Democrat folks that allowed their democratically chosen candidate Joe Biden to be unceremoniously THROWN off the top of the Dem ballot in favor of Harris which they did NOT vote for...

🤣 🤣 🤣
