And OSU's quality wins don't look so good right now. Yes both Texas and Illinois are still ranked but not sure they are considered the same as they were when OSU played them.

And Illinois lost but moved up.

we don't care what A&M, Bama or UGA do they are locks no matter what

Oklahoma and Vandy don't matter because we will have to beat them anyway and Vandy has no shot anyway

Ole Miss and Mizzou are our "competition" but really not because Ole Miss will lose one more and Mizzou will too...and our schedule and SOS will be higher

I think the SEC gets 5 in , but could just be 4

I guess you think A&M, Bama and UGA could lose all their remaining games and still be in?? Really???

A&M has to win - they can't go 0-3, maybe not even 1-2 against those three and expect to remain a lock. If they go 2-1, then yes. But all three of those are on the road and they barely squeaked by Arkansas. They are NOT a lock - they must win.

Georgia must not lose 2, to be a lock. If they lose 2, they have 3 losses and they would be out.

Bama can lose 1, but they too can't lose 2 because of the FSU loss - which is now a bad loss and that would take them to 3.

The other thing is that neither of those teams can go into the SEC championships game with 2 losses, lose that game and make the playoffs.

So yes we do care what any of the SEC teams that are above us do - all of them.

An OU win would also probably push Ole Miss down enough that we would jump them if we beat UK then OU.

That means nothing where they drop if they lose. If OU wins against Ole Miss and we beat them, we will be back on edge of the Top 10. Ole Miss ranking would have zero relevancy because we’d be 2 losses, OU would be 2 losses and Ole Miss would be 2 losses

And by the way, Chambliss is doing better than Aguilar this year.

In 7 starts, Joey has 2000 yards and 17 touchdowns. 285 YPG / 2.4 TD per game

In 5 starts, Chambliss has 1800 and 13 touchdowns. 360 YPG / 2.6 TD per game.
Ole Miss defense got exposed yesterday. The Wash St game was a not a fluke. Their signature win is an LSU game where now their coach is on the hot seat. It does matter how good their offense is. Yesterday was their BEST offensive game of the season and they still lost.
Georgia is not Bama or Ohio St on offense either.
They are NOT a top team 10 with that defense. Miami has the defense to be in the top 10 though.
Ole Miss has too many massive 300lb DT’s on defense and they were absolutely exhausted in the 4th quarter and that is when Georgia pulled away.
At least our Dline is made up of more finess players that are not struggling to stand up.

I watched the game with an Ole Miss grad who lives in Oxford. He pointed out the DL issue with them being so winded.

And then the debate would happen lol - some of these teams sometimes move up when they lose.

That means nothing in the “who has the better QB” point. Right now, Chambliss is playing better than Aguilar.

Agree it was obvious that Ole Miss ran out of gas.

We on the other hand really didn't - we just blew it right before the half.
