A lot of you are speculating about Lane to Florida, but I’m not sure he’d want that right now. Assuming the rumors are true and he wants out of Oxford, the best job for him in terms of an immediate ability to win and have success is probably Penn State. Florida’s entire athletic program is a show. He’d almost be taking a rebuild job all while having to deal with the back room chaos that’s unfolding there.

Penn State is a much better job than Florida. Much easier schedule and path to the playoffs every year.

Disagree. The time mattered, it was the only thing that mattered. It’s the whole reason we were put in that position having to make that call. We don’t make that call with more time on the clock and more plays to be able to run.

No, the first down play call definitely mattered with one TO left. It certainly isn’t all that mattered. We had to call the last one because of the first down run. The INT was thrown on second down.

My opinion is different the he/she about the loss
I don’t think CJH calls bad games
A bunch of **** happens during the game we as fans don’t know about that leads to certain play calling
The QB has a ton of options with the play call he receives in our offense
If our Oline does its job our offense is lights out and I know that can be said about anyone but our coach schemes up some amazing play calls
Our defense on the other hand has some bad backend talent that still plays for some reason and our safety play is atrocious
CBs are playing good for being the 3rd and 4th guy out there
Ends dont hold contain very well bc they are a little light imo

We still Control our own destiny and we can definitely win out

Agreed, but that's no backdoor. That would be a legitimately massive stretch of huge wins @ UK, top-15 OU, @UF, top-15 Vandy.

Not an easy game there. The only scenario I don't see happening at this point is us getting in with 3 losses. Someone will, but our SOS won't do us that favor.

We are basically where most people thought we would be at this point in the season. Fix some problems and try to get hot to close out the season. Every game left is winnable if we bring our best. Playoffs this year will likely be the most wide open in 20 years. If we win out nobody will be wanting to play us in the opening round. We have some flaws but I don’t think they will quite playing hard. Snap and clear. Time to move forward.

He can coach. He’s beat teams he shouldn’t have. Being at a place where recruiting is easy would make him a yearly contender. I don’t want uf contending for anything but bottom of the barrel.

I thought the OPI call was ridiculous. That play happens a hundred times right on the line and not called.

Recruiting at UF is not easy with them being a dump and Miami being a top team with FSU also making a new hire. . . not to mention USF, UCF, etc. . .

Are they getting off easy?

I don’t understand coaching out the rest of the season when he could go elsewhere and start working on that program. Also lame ducks are never good ideas. Is it just to keep the roster intact? How is Florida getting away with firing him, underpaying him to leave, putting this program before his own future elsewhere, etc?

But you can’t hit a hole in one if you don’t take a swing.

I guess Indiana could of settled for another 40 years of irrelevance because their wasn’t a guaranteed can’t miss coach they could of hired.
