Some more context........UNC is ranked 11th in the preseason. UNC only wanted to do 3 quarters of full court and then only do half court the final quarter. Coach Kim, her staff and the team didn't know this before flying to North Carolina and didn't find out about it until after the 3rd quarter. They were not happy about not playing a full scrimmage.

We’ve played Kentucky on the road at night in their best season in forever and beat them back in 2021. I think we’ll be fine this game.

The time really didn’t matter. Not throwing on first down mattered. You either score or throw an incompletion to keep that one TO.

Nobody is saying it’s a good throw. I’m saying even with a perfect throw it’s not caught. Bama was in perfect position. I don’t care if it was prime Brady or manning Kits is not catching that

The time does matter. Bishop was tackled with 29 seconds left and we didn’t call a TO till 9 seconds. Call a TO run for the first and you have 24 seconds left with a fresh set of downs. Instead of 9. 24 seconds lets you call whatever play you want

He is a senior from App State. I thought he could be solid, but frankly, he’s better than I thought. A few of his INT’s were from tips or slips. Last night was truly one of the few from a bad throw. Our offense is great, in part, because of him.

Yes - hard to explain but that was a way closer game than the final score says.

I think the fact we have so many young and new players in key spots shows up on nights like last night. Just tons of mental busts.

I keep thinking this team will clean it up and whip a few folks. Time will tell

MM has shown a big leap this year, despite a few drops. Next year brazzell will have gone pro and MM will be the featured go to guy. Anyone who wants him gone is foolish.

He’s not a good football player, he’s just an athlete. And I think Brazzel will be back, he’s killing his stock right now after a big first few games.

Exactly right. I just can’t get on board with anyone saying it was almost a touchdown. Bama read that like a book.

You put it where only Kits has a play. If incomplete you have another play and FG still in back pocket.

It’s idiotic. Bama had a dude containing which resulted in him holding it longer than he wanted to. He had a dude right in front of him so he couldn’t zip it, and then the other defender had his eyes on Joey the whole time and was 2 steps from kits.

The ball should have 100% been in the stands and it was not a smart pass. You have to be blind to think that was a TD with a good throw or a good play call
