Very trueI mentioned it Thursday/friday when someone posted the Miami fans fighting after their loss. I really don’t understand fans fighting each other, even online - take a hint everyone, as if it is good in any way shape or form. Argue with someone about the program/ team and game stuff all day, but yall calling each other names and hurling insults at each other is silly. It’s one thing to call someone out for being a nega, but the personal attacks and internet beef stuff is unnecessary and quite frankly, boring. Happy for you that you’ve moved to the anger stage of grief so quickly, but can we please get back to talking about Tennessee and not each other? Thanks.
Urban. If he even wants to coach. That would be it. Otherwise taking a gamble. Still can’t believe Penn state fired Franklin. I think in todays college game with NIL, you can’t afford firing coaches for a long period of time. If you have a good coach (not great) and they aren’t getting over the hump (Franklin), I would think you need to invest more in players and better coaches around them. Can’t afford these crazy buyouts and NIL contracts.and name a can't miss coach any of them are going to hire? I can't.
You’re being too reasonable Peay. Someone must be fired because we lost to Alabama in Tuscaloosa. There are brilliant coaches on the coaching tree that can easily replace our incompetent, horrible coaches. It’s like Alabama has a bunch of scrubs that have no idea what they’re doing. The reality of college football is there’s more parity and the margins are razor thin. The freaking Kansas City Chiefs are 3-3 this year so I guess Andy Reid sucks and should be fired? It’s high level football and one of the two teams loses every single game. Learn from it and try to get better. Fans should also quit eating their own. It’s pathetic and getting worse. Rant over. This is why I try not to get on VN as much on Game Days and Suns after a loss............
My god people. A 99 yrd pick 6 (14 point flip) changed the game. Period. One play!
EDIT:
And in this league........That gets you beat!
Like you a lot Enki but blaming the refs for last night is a stretch. They were far from perfect but we shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly last night. Our defense on 3rd and long was a struggle. Seems like a trend this year. We just didn’t make the game changing plays and they did. I’m definitely not a ref apologist.Looks like the ref apologists are in the house,![]()
Most people said 9-3 because Nico left and Joey was a complete unknown. The narrative was that our offense would be an unknown but defense would still be good. Before the season I said I would be content with 9-3. I need to be consistent with that. I didn’t expect to win yesterday but I thought the score would be closer. After touching grass and the emotions subsiding. We are right where I thought we would be and with some good breaks 9-3 is still achievable.
You saw what a 50% freshman roster leads to and you want more of that in the starting lineup?I’d be happy to cut him and save the money with what we’ve got coming in.
Kitselman spins around to attempt the catch. If it’s thrown 2 yards further out, it’s not intercepted. Both play and execution can be critiqued. We should have thrown on first down. It’s not. Watch it again. The guy was 2 steps from kits and watching Joey the whole time. Joey had another guy to the right of him in his face and another guy directly in front of him. He had zero chance of completing that play, it should have been in the stands tho
You think passing from a jumbo package when the entire stadium knows you’re about to run a play action is a good idea?
