That is nonsense. Stop being so vaginal and realize the SEC is a grind these days. Very little went our way and there were still some positives. Not a moral victory ... But also not anything that's going to ruin the season for Vol fans who can think straight. You do realize we are not the best team in the great state of Tennessee, right???
Idk if I trust Danny to help after today.I'm the same. I learned the hard way, defending the status quo is NOT good. If you care about your player(s) then your #1 focus is to have the best coaches you can get. That's YOUR JOB. And it's not always pretty. A healthy turnover in staff is one indication (not in numbers, but position, etc.). Even doing it and missing still shows commitment.
CJH has never given me that vibe, not unless he's done it out of pure survival. Like revamping his offense this year. I suspect he needs help...and isn't.asking for it. Danny White could help.
Altho we've progressed, we are not on the top teams' level. They are more physical and more athletic. Better coaching would close the gap a little I think.I just don't feel the same about these games anymore. Disgusted we show up unprepared every damn road game. I believed Heupel could deliver, he just doesn't have it and will never have a disciplined football team. There is some merit to laziness and appearance imo. Anyway maybe he will figure it out.
There is nothing we can do to offset the loss of the 2 corners I guess? We have nothing in reserve. Obviously the "take it on the chin" gameplay was in effect tonight. I am wondering why these coaches are paid millions for non-performance. Zero creativity. What would you want them to do? Pick a fight and embarrass us more than we are already?
Not when you factor in the FGs we passed on. That bonehead call and throw determined the game.
I’ve heard that phrase after every TN post game interview “ proud of our effort but e ended to CLEAN up some things.” At some point, you have to get it done. His teams have always struggled w penalties- always/ from day one when he got his first head coaching gig.I'm tired of the sloppiness. Clean that crap up somehow or fire someone..
