You take the 3 and not give up that colossal pick six. And I am not the only one who suggested kicking a fg on that last possession because it wasnt 4th and reasonable.

Honestly, losing to bama is always painful. Especially the way we played. They’re good. We just had plenty of chances to keep it one score and we did the worst possible things.

The season is still in front of us but the way we are playing I seriously doubt we win out.

Not for firing, but CJH needs to win against ranked teams on the road and he hasn't.

I'm the same. I learned the hard way, defending the status quo is NOT good. If you care about your player(s) then your #1 focus is to have the best coaches you can get. That's YOUR JOB. And it's not always pretty. A healthy turnover in staff is one indication (not in numbers, but position, etc.). Even doing it and missing still shows commitment.

CJH has never given me that vibe, not unless he's done it out of pure survival. Like revamping his offense this year. I suspect he needs help...and isn't.asking for it. Danny White could help.

CJH will not win the SEC or a championship. If Tennessee wants more they need to find another coach.

Unfortunately, there’s just not a good option that would come to Tennessee at this point.

Tennessee is better than the dumpster fire before he got here, but I think he’s hit his ceiling.

The boosters need to quietly build up some monetary reserve and wait until the next Curt Cignetti is available then be ready.

Until then like the Jack Nicholson movie, this is as good as it gets.

The play call at the end of the first half was so JV. Everyone in the stands knew you were passing and you thought play action would fool them….absolute garbage.

I think Heupel proves that he is a good coach each year. A lot like Franklin at Penn State. He can win a few of the big games but never the ones that take you to the next step. It will be a few years but we will fire Heupel in much the same manner as Penn State fires Franklin.

I’m not so sure. He may resign and the reason I say that is, he’s the AD’s guy. His failure reflects on the AD. Unless boosters and fans lose interest and the money flow slows, I think he’s safe even into mediocrity. I’m a bit of a conspiracy theorist but I tend to see self preservation more as I age.
