This take is probably in the minority and I realize we were a playoff team last year, but I feel you can tell pretty early in a coach’s tenure if they are truly “special”. I think Heup is a good coach but not elite. Reminds me of Mark Richt. Good enough to make it difficult to fire, but not good enough to win a championship.

Richt won the SEC twice and went to SECCG like 5 or 6 times. Heupel would have a long way to go to catch Richt.

We have regressed and didn’t really beat anyone worth a damn almost lost to Miss. St and Arky while Bama has improved significantly since their embarrassing loss to FSU. Tonight’s result shouldn’t surprise you
