I think this is very true, having to look everyone in the eye and asking yourself, am I sure I really want to go? As the day has worn on, I just hate how this has all happened. Hasn’t been handled well at all. I guess I can see his POV on opportunity now, but doesn’t mean I have to like it.

True. But he’s built something real here. It would for sure be a challenge managing in that division because it’s stacked.

I don’t think he is leaving. ESPN now just saying he is the favorite for Giants job. That is a lot different than he has taken job. Tony probably realizes what he is good at doing works better in college game.

Sadly, I think we're way past soul searching. We're into contract details. Don't see white going all in to keep him either. If the word is true that they cut his NIL booty, I doubt there's much hope with this one. That's just a slap in the face to a guy who brought UT a natty. Just can't believe we're at this point. Insane.

If the word is true that they cut his NIL booty, I doubt there's much hope with this one. That's just a slap in the face to a guy who brought UT a natty. Just can't believe we're at this point. If White lets him walk then he better go all out to support his next hire. I know he has a reputation for taking care of “his hires”. Gonna be tough to find another one on the level of TV imo.

I think you’re right. I fear this delay is just a formality while they work out the last minute contract details.
