Absolutely right. It's a time for experimentation. I feel they are better hitters even when they do hit it directly to someone. Just my impression....

We’ve hammered a bunch right to an outfielder who barely had to move to catch it.

So when the LVs wear a team out 25+ runs, we’re going to have a great season but when we can’t hit off of GT, it’s “fall ball” and doesn’t mean anything.

no, again. i dont think you can gauge a ton from fall ball. these games are just for reps and experience. i take nothing from them.

You're Right. I've learned that we have several players that can play multiple positions. It's also a good time to get the new pitchers some game experience but it's not the same as regular season. Those reps help.
