Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

She's obviously crazy and a leech, but he looks so much worse in this ordeal. He has really been shown to be kind of a pathetic guy that can very easily be controlled and manipulated by a fool.
And this is why dudes have a problem with big mouthed boss girls invading what has always been and always will be a predominantly male space.

That's awesome. We need some TENNESSEE blood on SEC Network and ESPN.

Incoming Rant (with pics/links/and charts)

The gump/gata representatives are controlling the narrative on these talk shows and keeping the VOLS down. Their whack analysis and anti-TN commentary need to have legitimate counterpoints or the nation will continue to see us a middle tier program, instead of one of the blue bloods of college football.... which we are a blue blood.

The NCAA 's website has a "9 winningest programs ever while 247 has a "top 15". I wonder why the ncaa stopped at top 9. 🤔

We were firmly in the top before the Dooley/Jones/Pruitt experiments. 2 decades have allowed the talking heads to push us into the shadows. We are a historically a top 10 team. College football, and the gumps that run it, need to remember that.

Well folks, the last 15 hours have been nothing short of a whirlwind and chaos. Relief and joy.

Our second child decided last night was closing time. It was a terrifying experience *added details below, IF the spoiler feature works* but miracles happen and quick thinking by the doc saved everyone.

My second baby girl joined us topside at 12:22am ET, October 17th.

Which means her birthday will ALWAYS be celebrated on the Third Saturday In October.

Congratulations!

New Mandela effect just dropped for me.

Florida now has wild monkeys everywhere.
You would have known that if you had ever been to Silver Springs. The guy who owned Silver Springs back in the old days brought the monkeys in and set them loose in the park..of course they soon got loose and have spread into the Ocala National Forest. They are mean little SoBs too...if I still had my old phone I would show you some pictures of them swing around through the trees.

The only thing it doesn't do is teach you the normal garbage route trees....everything else about QB development in the fundamentals is great at UT...how hard is it for a smart guy to learn new play terminology that basically is just a different way of saying where the recievers are going?

You still have to recognize and read-react to defenses quickly, you still have to be able to know where your reciever is going, and imo that is even amplified more in Heupels offense...you still have to be able to throw the ball well.

I think this criticism is freaking stupid....especially considering we've been doing so many different things this year...Heup evolves.

I don't know how good of an argument this is but I'm going to throw it out there. Early in their careers both Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray were coached by Josh Heupel. Now most of the credit for those guys goes to Riley and deservedly so, but my point is Heupel clearly didn't screw them up enough to not have decent (to date) NFL careers. They are making loads of money. And Dillion Gabriel fits this too to a degree. Drew Lock is on the Seahawks roster. Getting paid. Hendon Hooker and Joe Milton are both in the NFL right now last I checked.

The NFL takes guys all the time entirely on potential..."we can fix him" is the ultimate NFL hubris.

It's nothing but crap spewed to slow down our recruiting.
