that Vandy game was much closer than the score. I have no idea why Vandy stopped running the ball when they averaged 7 per carry.

it was 20-14 with like 4 minutes to go.

Mizzou had the ball to tie or win at the end and Pribula missed Kevin Coleman wide open that may have won it.

and no, Bama is not physical really at all. Just a ball control team.

I agree. But play man and have safety help. We are not good in zone. So stop forcing it. But I agree, let the DL eat like they do. Also, coach some players up and stop playing the sticks and dropping ten yards past once the ball is snapped. Martinez is on the damn field, yell at them. I think the DL has a field day Saturday but we all know the refs will let Bama WWE our players
You keep saying do not play zone becuase we are not good at zone. Is that meant to imply that we are good at man? Because missing 2 huge pieces at CB and with LB/S that do not cover well, news flash, we are not good at man either. If you are not good at either, one gives you more opportunities to be successful while the other gets you beat quickly. Man also makes the other QB's decison-making much easier. Man also means that it is easier to hit hot reads to avoid our biggest asset on defense, pass rushers.

Basically, the argument is....yeah I struck out but BY GAWD I was swinging for the fences with all 3 of my swings. Oh wow, congrats!

I wonder if its much more of a mix Saturday. This is what Bama does they do not create big explosives on offense. Ty is a zone killer and they like to methodically dink & dunk you down the field. Anyone that knows a lick about the game can watch the film and figure that out though so I assume we adjust.

Has anyone asked about Gibson? I would imagine with a chest injury that he could be back by the end of the season.

VQ said they will spend on the secondary this portal season. Seems like we flip some position groups every couple of years. It’s the secondaries turn.
He tore his pec and had surgery. He is done this year.

Let's also not forget...this is the guy calling the game on Saturday

There will be no bias at all, I'm sure!
It won't change the outcome of the game obviously but he should be more professional or should be calling another game . GM has a history of disdain towards UT. Remain impartial ffs.

250lbs sounds big til you remember he's 6'8". Still a decent size guy. We need one of those 7'+ freaks that can foul people at will end never get called for it. "The refs have not been able to figure out how to call the game around him". . . biggest pile of donkey doo I've ever heard used to cover up officiating malpractice.
