That will determine the game there. If Bama can sustain a reasonable rushing attack, we are in trouble. If we can make them one-dimensional, I think we can create pressure and force some mistakes....

this defense relies on making big plays. If we get a stop, a fumble, or an interception, etc, offense needs to score points. We can't go 3 and out and immediately put our defense back out there like we did against Arkansas

Just to let you guys know, I truly hate this week. Historically we dont come out well. My family knows not to talk to me, call or communicate in any way. Yes I grew up there, yes I WAS a fan at one time but not for decades. VAMOS VOLS!!! My stomach is already in knots.

Went on a trip last week but the Ginger and my actual anniversary is this Saturday. On our honeymoon we were watching the game. Andy Kelly took a sack on the last play instead of throwing a Hail Mary and we lost. We don’t have a good record on our anniversary so hope is all I have.

I was a guest of the Memphis correctional system the TSIO in ‘89 when we went in with high hopes. Got to actually watch the game.

"Aguilar currently leads the SEC in passing yards with 1,680. He also rushed for 59 yards against Arkansas last week (and Aguilar rushed for the game-tying touchdown in the Vols’ overtime win against Mississippi State last month).

I think Aguilar been more than “good enough” for Tennessee. And while he may not be a burner as a runner, he’s quick enough (and aware enough) to pick up yards with his legs when needed.

I’m not sure why McElroy is dismissive of Aguilar. It may be because McElroy doesn’t seem to think much of Tennessee’s offensive system under Josh Heupel."
