Like this...the little gray numbers -110 , -105, -120 etc. Have no clue what they are. ML -200 +170???? Don't really care, but still....

-110 means you lay $110 to win $100 by picking that team to win (plus your $110 bet return). Any -### is what you lay to win $100.

+200 means a $100 bet on that team to win will pay $200 (plus your $100 bet return). Any +### is what the payout is on a $100 bet.

To get people betting.
My understanding is they (Vegas) gives a certain amount to home field then goes from there and the line moves based on how people react. So Bama gets 7 for home field and 1.5 for expected to win on neutral field. If too many people take Tennessee then they drop the number.

Could all be BS. Just what I was told by a guy who gambled a lot. Met him at AA. Lol
