Any word on Jam Miller's concussion situation?

Edit: Answer - "Jam [Miller] and Derek [Meadows] will both be going through their protocol this week. Cayden Jones, he had to have surgery on an ankle injury, so he'll be down for a little while."
We all know the answer here… It will not matter if those two pass concussion protocol or not. They are going to play. Guarantee you that Jam Miller plays at least. Alabama Doesn’t give two cents about their student athletes health.

I don't see it. Just by the way they've looked and the way we've looked, they've looked better. And it's at their place. And we've only played one road game to our max potential in the last several years (LSU). 34-27 Bama.

If the refs don't rob us of two touchdowns I got a good feeling about winning this thing. It's going to take a lot of points imo, so we can't afford to miss on redzone opportunities, and we must score when the defense gets a turnover. Also, must not false start ourselves out of drives. I expect our defense to continue the trend of allowing lots of yards, points, and 3rd and 4th down conversions while also creating random havoc, sacks, and a turnover or two. 48-45 Vols

I would assume Miller plays but I'd be shocked if Meadows played. Kid got knocked out cold.

In a perfect world we get the ball first and score off the get-go to take the crpwd out of it and bama play from behind-something they really haven’t had to do so far

That's how I see it. There has been zero indication yet that the D can play well enough. Bama is better than MS. State and Arky; equal to UGA.

Hope this is the week it turns around, but would never bet on it.

Ya, if we had handled MSU and Arky like a top team should, I'd feel better about this game. Bama is on another level (more like 2 levels) from those two teams, and we're at their place. It's all hope for me at this point.

Something interesting that I’ve noticed is twice now when we’ve struggled in games we shouldn’t, we’ve lost the coin toss and didn’t receive, thus our game plan immediately got taken off the rails. I don’t know if that’s because the other team scored first (I know Arky did, but can’t remember of MSU did) or because we didn’t have a plan for the defense starting on the field. Either way, it’s an odd observation/fact.
Msu scored first off of a muffed punt.

Bama doesn’t have a rushing attack like either of those schools. Hopefully we can load the box this weekend.

I think the defense gets it together this weekend. Don’t think they’ll be great, but they’ll be good enough to get the W imo.

Don’t think it’s as far off as a lot of people are making it. We’re getting teams to 3rd and long. Any of the 3 of a bit more discipline/better matchup/better play calling can make it look a lot better.

The fact bama doesn’t run the ball super well gives me hope. Think our lb’s and safeties have been really keying in on the run based on how a few of the matchups have looked going in. If the dline can limit running lanes with a healthier DT room then I think we’ll be ok.

With the SEC trying to protect the “brand name” programs, if given the opportunity, the officials are going to insert themselves into this game as well. aTm and Ole Miss not the big names they want at the top, so they’ll do what’s necessary to help bama and uga.
