If you know anything you’re talking about, show me the data.. Show me how distance and nearby population equates to this:Yeah, that’s right, all the external media consultants, legal counsel, in-house media advisors, and university administrators know nothing about media rights deals. Again, this isn’t difficult. Why do you think Maryland and Rutgers were added to the B10? Neither of those athletic departments bring anything to the table as far as national reach goes. What they did bring was the NYC, Baltimore, and D.C., markets. No different than when the SEC added Mizzou. That was done specifically because of St. Louis and Kansas City.

I don’t understand how you are so confused about where money comes from. Broadcasting companies make revenue off ad sales and subscriptions.. Ad sales are the primary source tied to tv ratings. It has nothing to do with land mass or nearby urban development. The SEC has led in tv ratings for decades now.
No, Georgia Tech doesn’t sell more ads than Georgia. Being in Atlanta has not mattered since the invention of the television.
Penn State has always recruited from NY.. You’re just naming whatever comes to mind to sound knowledgeable.
Were you Greg Sankey’s consultant?
