Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I got a little nervous when I saw UGA only sacked Simpson once and only had 4 TFLs against Bama, but delving further, Georgia only has 8 sacks on the season and are 106th nationally in TFLs.

Just looking at raw numbers, Candy and Mizzou are the best pass rushes/disruptive fronts Bama has faced. They both got Simpson 4 times and had at least 6 TFLs.

If we are going to win, it’s gonna be with Simpson in the supine position looking up at the sky.
We will definitely get to him, it's just a matter of, will our defense clean up some of the mental errors.

Yeah I use to do those. They are rough. The Insanity workouts by Shaun T are good too.

"Rescue from Gilligan's Island"

After 15 years, they are finally rescued................

October 14 &
21, 1978

After 15 years, a Soviet satellite crashes on the island. The Professor uses a piece of it to build a barometer, which predicts a devastating tsunami. The castaways lash their huts together to ride out the storm, and Gilligan's clumsy actions—accidentally starting a fire on the raft—cause smoke that attracts a Coast Guard helicopter.

The group is rescued and flown to Hawaii, but they find adjusting to modern life and society difficult. The Howells find their finances depleted, the Skipper's insurance claim for the S.S. Minnow is complicated, and Gilligan becomes the target of Russian spies trying to recover the sensitive data from the satellite disc he has been wearing as a necklace.

I believe Gilligan's Island is the early version of "Lost"

I have a feeling Jimbo Fisher is going to be a big winner with this forthcoming coaching carousel, assuming he wants to coach.

He gets his $7.5M a year for the next few years whether he sits at home or coaches (his buyout with A&M is just legendary). I could see a team convincing him to come on the cheap, putting big money toward an all-star staff and promising a huge NIL budget.

I did P90X back in my 20's and it was tiring then. I'd have to get in better shape to even CONSIDER doing P90X right now. That stuff is no joke. Long workouts too if I remember right.... but maybe I just had to pause too much.

I feel like I was thrown in an industrial size dryer at warp speed.

I think it'll be a few days before I can even think about doing it again. I can barely stand up.
Be careful putting your condition out there. You are within commuting distance of the Papermill WH...aka mangy purple yeti territory. Yetis are known to travel if they smell weakness.

My Soldiers and I did P90X on our deployment to Iraq. I was in probably the best shape of my life and it still kicked my butt.
I did it twice in my late 20s. Best shape of my life but it is grueling. Especially plyo. Super long workouts too. I was in for a rude awakening when I got to yoga. I thought it was a rest day. May be one of the hardest. The program is not for the fat guy looking to shed a few lb’s. As Saggin said, I’d have to get in shape first to give it a go now.

Yeah...a bunch of lifters thought yoga say was gonna be a cake walk...lol
