Our strength on D is when we go after the QB we can get pressure and sacks.

Has anyone forgotten 2 years ago?
Their O line held on every play, got 0 flags and we couldn’t get to the QB when they put our pass rusher’s in a headlock on every play

Yet we still led by double digits at the half.

I like our chances is all I’m saying.

This is a true strength vs weakness game. Our best game plan may be to control the clock and run the ball, but with Bishop’s availability unclear this might be where our O sputters and we get thoroughly embarrassed.

UT Passing O (1st in SEC)
UT Passing D (last in SEC)
UT Rushing O (3rd in SEC)
UT Rushing D (10th in SEC)

Bama Passing O (3rd in SEC)
Bama Passing D (2nd in SEC)
Bama Rushing O (12th in SEC)
Bama Rushing D (13th in SEC)

B’ham is gonna own this game with the amount of OL holding the Gumps will get away with as we try to get uphill and get pressure on Ty with our front 4.

Something interesting that I’ve noticed is twice now when we’ve struggled in games we shouldn’t, we’ve lost the coin toss and didn’t receive, thus our game plan immediately got taken off the rails. I don’t know if that’s because the other team scored first (I know Arky did, but can’t remember of MSU did) or because we didn’t have a plan for the defense starting on the field. Either way, it’s an odd observation/fact.
I thought CJH deferred to the 2nd half anyway. He likes to score right before the half and get the ball again.

THE BIG ORANGE BEAT THE Gumps, the refs, and errbody else, in t-town Saturday night. I want the FBI, the CIA, Homeland Security, ICE, the US Marshalls, DOGE, Revenuers, G-men, TFA agents, the National Guard, the 4-H, the Teamsters, Autobots, and everybody else to keep their eyes on these cheating Birmingham referees this weekend. It's time for people to get arrested over the weekly SEC shenanigans plaguing our conference.

The point was the officials, at the end of the day, didn’t allow a UT win. It’s going to happen again, so prepare thyself.

That game 2 years ago only saw a single penalty on Bama, for 5 yards and it was a pre-snap infraction that had to be called. Not a single live ball penalty was committed by Bama, evidently. Not a single hold, PI, or personal foul.

If this game is close, officials will eat the flags in favor of Bama. It’s death and taxes.

Nothing about SEC officiating makes me confident for Tennessee going into this game.

To win, UT will have to beat Bama on the field plus the officiating. UT is talented enough to do it, but will have to be disciplined and the defense will have to play their best game of the season in order to do it.

This is a huge game for both of us. Winner will shoot up the ranks and be a strong playoff contender. Not sure how far the loser will fall, but could be a crash. I see flaws in both of our teams. I wish we were playing at home.

Voters are just waiting for us to lose and sink us like a stone. We will to at least 18-20 if we lose.

Those complaining about our 3rd down defense must not be old enough to remember 3rd and Chavis🤬
Also both wins against Bama under CJH have gone down to the wire, literally.
I expect nothing less this year👊🏻🍊
