There are portions of every fan base that has any sort of size at all that are incredibly toxic. None of them are ever going to have the perspective of a parent of a player because they can only see things from their own POV. I think we should just expect to hear from that segment of the fan base every week because unfortunately they are a lot louder than those who are pretty tickled with the way things are going.

Unfortunately, every week I see sports media actively promoting that sort of toxicity. These people think it's normal.

They did give him the money though and he did get players. I was listening to their Locked On Podcast a few days ago and the host pointed out numerous times that Franklin was given the money he asked for last season to keep their best players and get the players he wanted from the portal, and that he got the players he wanted. Franklin has said many times this season and in the offseason that this was the best roster he’s ever had at Penn St.

Vandy has an investment into sports now that was not realistic for Vandy when Franklin was there. I'm not even sure Vanderbilt isn't a better job curently. I said it then, too that Franklin feasted on bad teams at Vandy. They usually beat 4 OOC teams that weren’t good, and UT was down along with some other SEC teams. It was still good for Vandy, but I don’t believe he had a win as good as Lea beating Bama last year.

I watched the Penn State-Michigan game with friends at a sportsbook 2 years ago, and it was like watching paint dry. No creativity on offense. I don’t believe Michigan threw a pass in the second half (or at least just threw a couple).
