Looks like reality is the opposite of what you stated.I don't know what happens today, but Im not real sure the current Arkansas players will rally around Petrino. He's known to be a real *******.
Sam Pittman was very well liked and respected by former and current players -many of them disappointed in the firing.
I guess we'll see at 4:15.
Please don’t post leading up to the Alabama game. There is no reason to think other wise this … notre dame goes in their house curb stomp them. Our defense is just as good or better than the lucky Irish …. Ole miss is obviously overrated . There fixing find out as ole
Miss gets into the mest of their sec schedule… vOLS by 17 at least
Our coaches take every game just as seriously, if not more so, than anyone on this board. It’s their livelihood.I think Penn State losing to the new UCLA staff will cause the Tennessee coaches and players to take this Arkansas game and the new Arkansas staff more seriously. That and the fact that it's a revenge match make it unlikely Arkansas is being overlooked for Bama and not taken seriously.
This didn’t age well.Actually that's not true. The best professional gamblers try to hit a little over 50% in terms of win rate. The idea its far above 50/50 is a lie.
With that said when lines move this much the gamblers are usually right. I think this will be the exception. I don't see us playing a close game against Arkansas. Our offense is too explosive and they look like a team that's given up. Gamblers are looking at the Notre Dame game as the exception rather than who they actually are.
Tied at halftime, Vols trailed for 13:49 in the first half, and held on to win by 3. Led by 17 for a total of 3:57 of game clock. We were up 17 before they got 2 garbage time TDs. It was close early but we dominated after their hot start.

“It was close early.”
Let me guess - you’re the same guy that thought we played tie-to-toe with Georgia last year for most of the game even though we were outscored 31-7 after the first quarter?
That’s why 99% of the fans stayed for the remainder of the game, because it was well in-hand? OK.The game was over in the early 4th quarter when we went up 17. In the SEC that's essentially a blowout.
By the way after seeing how the game was going early I live bet on Arkansas to cover a spread of 7.5 so I was actually happy they got those 2 garbage time TDs to win me that bet.

I thought he already bet on sports ? He loves calling posters out after the games are overHere's the win probability charts during the game: Tennessee 34-31 Arkansas (Oct 11, 2025) Final Score - ESPN
After we went up 17 our win probability was as high as 99.8%. So yeah the game was in-hand by every reasonable indicator. But hey if you think 17 point leads in the 4th quarter are easily overcome then you need to start betting on sports cause you would make a killing given how insane the odds are. During the Florida/A&M game I saw odds of +15000 if you thought Florida was gonna overcome their 17 point deficit.
