Money talks. Tell your blue collar buddies to pony up.

That being said, I’ve been priced out for decades. Value isn’t there. Sometimes it’s cheaper to go to road games.

Make no mistake, Tennessee has F off money in the bank. They're not hurting for anything, but they'll send out emails asking for donations to help replace the roll up door on the concession stand in Y9, or replace the goalposts, etc. Total joke.

Is this a joke? The athletic department has won 3 straight SEC all-sports championships. Lat year, coming off a baseball national championship, our baseball and men's basketball were in the final 8 remaining, football made their 1st CFB playoff.

And you want to put HEAT on the athletic department???

Dadgum, go cheer for MTSU they have football tickets for less that what you pay for Rutherford County HS football games.

this thread was very poorly thought out. the ticket prices you are complaining about have nothing to do with the AD. It's your ****ing friends and neighbors who buy tickets and then resell them at sky high prices. the people that you say yell the loudest are the ones laughing all the way to the bank while they sit at home.

aim your anger at the right place.

I feel like we were plenty loud, saw 117db on my watch. I will say, in support of your point, there were a noticeable number of those grey seats open in the club section. I was pretty surprised tbh.

I’ve been to some of the neutral site games but haven’t been to Neyland since the OU game in 2015. Taking my six year old to the New Mexico State game for his first game this year (second level in front of the press box) and even just one ticket cost me the same as it did for a ticket in the end zone for the 2013 South Carolina game I watched the game winning kick from ten yards away.

The crowd noise is fine, but they’re pricing working class people out.

Tickets everywhere are substantially more expensive. It's not just Tennessee. The market sets the price and for a good team there is high demand.

Also, Saban used to always complain about the crowd at Bama for leaving early and taking the program for granted.

And “fine” is not what neyland should be. It should be the loudest stadium every week it hosts a game
