Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I'm going to share this recruiting profile from 247. Read this and guess where this player was ranked. I'm not going to tell you who it is yet. I wanna see something.

"Has a game tailor made for the next level because of his positional versatility. Shows off a rare combination of size, compete level and athleticism and can line up at about 3-4 different spots. Projectable frame at about 6-foot-3.5, 210 pounds and plays both linebacker and safety. He has exceptional lateral mobility, can drop and cover and plays with a consistent motor. Routinely covers wide receivers down the field in 7v7 play and is very comfortable playing in space. Can blitz off the edge and has the speed to run down plays from behind. He plays with maniacal effort and motor and has a nice mean streak to him as well. He’s a very twitchy player who reads and reacts quickly, can change direction, get off blocks and is a huge hitter. Really doesn't have a discernible weakness and has the kind of all around game that should allow him to see the field as a true freshman."
I guess y'all don't like guessing games. It's Jadon Perlotte. It reads like a can't miss 5-star stud. Dude was barely a 4 star. Here's his profile. https://247sports.com/player/jadon-perlotte-46127890/high-school-272731/

Good on Heupel for not biting his tongue. Surprised he even said anything.

The theory is that because we continue to fake injuries after touchdowns the refs are not going to give us good calls. When it’s this bad at home I tend to think that Heupel needs to drop it. Stop faking the extra point injuries and try to get a decent whistle when it matters.

James Carter is another bama born official calling a game in which TENNESSEE is involved. That's 3 this season. This is egregious

The SEC is corrupt
He hadn’t called an SEC game since 2021. Guarantee he’s in Tuscaloosa next week.

Edit: hahahaha

I don’t see Heupel changing it up. He doesn’t change how he manages late game leads, I doubt he’s going to stop doing the fake injury thing. Although, assuming that theory is true (which feels far fetched), seems extremely silly for THAT to be the thing that collectively pisses off all officials.

I think the refs are still mad that they have to run so much when we play.
