It’s clear here they are referring to the 2021 nomination for Trump not 2020.

Even though we’re gonna contradict ourselves in a couple of paragraphs we have a way to imply that he was nominated and thus didn’t get it so we’re gonna throw shade because well we’re WaPo and we hate him.

Shocking the guy who wants to use the military on “the enemy within” and sinking random Venezuelan boats in a thinly disguised attempt to escalate a conflict didn’t win a peace prize.


Of course, he wouldn’t have been the first completely undeserving winner.

Trump brought peace to about 8 wars in less than a year. I believe the nomination deadline was back on January 31st so Trump may win next year..probably not though. Trump not winning the Nobel is like Manning not winning the Heisman...a joke.

Obama tainted the Nobel award by it being given to him when he did absolutely nothing......

Donald Trump called Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado to congratulate her on winning the Nobel Peace Prize - after she dedicated the prize to the president and her country's pro-democracy movement.

The president's reaction to Machado, 58, taking the prize he has actively campaigned for may come as a surprise to critics given speculation he would be furious at not receiving the prize himself.

Many had tipped Trump as a contender for brokering a historic peace deal between Israel and Hamas to end the two-year war in Gaza that has killed more than 70,000 people.

Trump's magnanimous reaction followed the Venezuelan leader's thanks to the Trump for his 'decisive support' for her country's pro-democracy movement.

'I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump,' she wrote on X.
