FU i didn't start poop,it was thrown at me by lsu. My doctor doesn't require anything. My wife's doctor require masks due to his wife's cancers and his hope not to bring anything home. I do not wear a mask

Nobody is talking about the law. I'm talking about states rights purity where one would advocate for more states rights regardless of the law. You accept what states rights the feds have allowed us via the law and whatever power they have managed to usurp.

You're just inadvertently admitting you're not a states rights guy, which is fine.

Not to get to much back into the "science" of the mask, but I can tell you that an N95 stops 95% of particles down to 300 nano meters. Covid is around 100 nano meters in diameter so it would be fair to say that it would provide minimal protection, which is better than none.

I think the issue people had with the mask is that most people don't like to be told what to do. Then once it became political you almost had to pick a side because there was always the one person that would either make a scene about others not wearing a mask or the a**hole causing a scene because a business required them.

Fair assessment of what happened. The political side-taking definitely became the primary driver for a lot of people. Still is, apparently.
