wouldn't reducing the severity reduce the viral load and thus reduce transmissibility?

his argument wasn't a reduction of Covid, it was the STOP of covid. To your point there were any number of things that reduced its transmissibility.

considering its not longer an epidemic and not everyone is vaccinated, seems pretty conclusive it was not responsible for STOPPING the pandemic.

Correlation vs causation.

the vaccine was too late in the timeline to effectively "stop" the virus anyway

if you remember, i never vaccinated and opposed mandates with a level of vehemence i rarely exhibit in political settings

I wear disposable N95 masks for work.

Not to get to much back into the "science" of the mask, but I can tell you that an N95 stops 95% of particles down to 300 nano meters. Covid is around 100 nano meters in diameter so it would be fair to say that it would provide minimal protection, which is better than none.

I think the issue people had with the mask is that most people don't like to be told what to do. Then once it became political you almost had to pick a side because there was always the one person that would either make a scene about others not wearing a mask or the a**hole causing a scene because a business required them.

I think Swamp has a history of wearing face diapers. His doctor makes him wear one. Something about his doctorā€™s wife has cancer and apparently diapers on the face of others may do something, or nothing. Idk.

Anyways Swamp is sensitive about it. And anytime folks can work this into a discussion they feel like they are scoring points.

I can't certainly understand wearing a mask if you are a cancer patient or around someone with cancer.
