Faison is coming in leaving two 5*s on the roster. No "scrappy vet" will want anything to do with us next year lol. Any one with two brain cells will look elsewhere.

Lets count up the number of 5 stars quarterbacks who have met or exceeded expectations over the last 10 years.

Joey Aguilar is an unrated juco product who nearly became a fireman and is currently putting together one of the best seasons in the history of our program.

Gmac might be the guy next year. Faison might flip the narrative about highly rated QB recruits. But those things are not guarantees at a position that is notoriously hard to assess and scout. I think the coaches would be negligent if they didn't try and find a third guy who can compete for the job. I sure am glad they went out and found Joey. I think we would be a mile up **** creek if they tried to roll with Merk or Gmac this year.

arch is young. he will be fine, and he isn't going anywhere. he will also be there for four years, per his grandfather.

It's not that simple man

I haven't seen the NIL bills for GMac and Brandon, but judging by what we paid bust Nico-there is more than a pretty penny of alumni/fan funds tied up there

Heupel keeps finding gems in the bargain bin, people will pull back on donations-which is not exactly what the AD wants.

Reality is that Heupel pretty much has to start one of his own recruits next year-that leaves Merk GMac, or Brandon. I think Merk will be gone so that leaves Gmac and Brandon.

Like I said man, some things in life are just not as simple as they seem.
