Social Media "Buzzing" About Arch / Tennessee???

From what I hear, the Mannings have been coordinating with Gruden.

HUGE news coming. A Manning/Gruden package. Rumor is that Cutcliffe misses the game, wants to get back in it, and is also coming in as OC.

The last piece? Deon Sanders is SOOOO excited to work with Gruden that he is CONSIDERING DC. It's a step down, and a huge pay cut, but the reports are that he really doesn't care about any of that and just wants to be part of it all.

That last piece is a "maybe". Everything else is a done deal. As a matter of fact, my best friend's sister's nephew's neighbor saw them all at Calhoun's last night. Apparently, Gruden loves their ribs.

Soon.

A good buddy of mine that I play golf with once or twice a month just happens to be a big UT booster. I was having drinks with him after our round at the Honors course this past weekend. We were a few bourbons deep and he let it slip that Arch is going to be wearing the right color orange next year. He’s pretty much funding the whole thing. Check my stats bro.

I guess in all the excitement, you failed to mention Spurrier & Saban are coming out of retirement as a package "analyst" deal for offense and defense! Rumor has it, Garth Brooks will lead the band regularly at half time for "Friends in low places"......Gonna be epic...Stay tuned VN and all!

Only way I'd want Arch transferring in is in a couple years after he's gotten a new lease on his football life at a G5 school. Right now I doubt he could come close to beating out GMac, who has similar measurables.

I heard Gruden was coming in as manager of football operations, Heupel to stay on as HC, Cutcliffe will be an offensive analyst with Peyton as OC. Jerod Mayo is coming in to coach linebackers. Pat McAfee is quitting his job at ESPN so he can enroll in a grad program at UT and be the next Davy Crockett, Belichick is stepping down at UNC and moving to Knoxville so Jordan can head up our NIL program.

Biggest news of all though, the computer science department is nearing a breakthrough with a sentient AI that will have the consciousness of General Neyland. They're going to load it onto a chip implanted in Heupel's brain. Several back-to-back championships incoming.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Talked to my buddy in the CS dept. They have hit a big problem. They were shooting for the General but ended up with Derek Dooleys consciousness. Basically, we are screwed.

If he leaves Texas I don’t see any school that makes more sense than Tulane. There’s no upside to coming here.
This is not an educated comment. He will have enough experience that someone would surely bring him in among the Big Ten/SEC schools and P5 schools.

He will have 2 years left of eligibility, but the issue for him is he needs to find a tried and true QB developer that seriously progress him.

Sark is not that. If I was advising Arch, I would just tell him to see if Ole Miss would be a spot for him. At this point, the whole Arch hope is that he goes to the NFL. The good news is he has plenty of time to get on that path. But Sark is not the coach to help him do it. I'd trust that if Kiffin can get Matt Corral drafted and Dart a first round pick, he can get Arch to be one of the top QB's in the country after 2 seasons together.

I’d say Texas is stuck with him. They can’t get rid of him and have to start him. Anything less would be harmful to the Texas Brand! So they’re stuck with him.
I think so too. What are they going to do? Encourage him to transfer? I would transfer on my own if I was Arch. I'm not sure what his ceiling as a passer is but he's never going to reach it at Texas.

I had forgotten about A to Z. I use Google news and sign in via my gmail account. It allows me to block sites I don’t want to see anymore and I blocked those clowns years ago.

They still do everything possible to not show you conservative sites but overall it works pretty good.

Everything you said is spot on but you spelled Deion's name wrong. He will come after you for that, no doubt.

Not necessarily. The backup QB came in against 🐊 and threw a strike, actually went through progressions and found the right guy.

Also, Raja Bell’s son (Raja former NBA player) Dia Bell is up there with Faizon as QB1 for the 2026 class.

I think some of you are getting too caught up in this 'Manning' name and not the player. Arch would require big NIL $ to go anywhere and he has not played even close to making that kind of $ worth it. I can see no good reasons to sign him. We have a 5* stud coming in and Gmac looking good. No need for Arch.

Exactly. why would we risk losing George or Faizon? Makes no sense! 🤪 🤪 🤪

Arch is going to be a very good player. He has all the tools. He has only started a few games and the Texas offensive line is not good. Sometimes it takes some time for these guys to figure it out.
