I simply don't understand especially in the age of Uber why anyone would get drunk in get behind the wheel. I've lost 4 family members and 3 friends over the years to drunk drivers.

I've also enjoyed more than my fair share of alcohol and I've never gotten behind the wheel drunk or even buzzed. It's such a reckless, selfless act

Caleb Calhoun announced today, 10/09/25, would be his last day doing the show. Caleb did not go into a lot of detail but he implied the current situation was unsustainable for him moving forward.

I’m going to make a giant assumption and say that it was something to do with money or lack there of that forced Caleb to make a decision. I believe he liked doing the show and would have continued it if it was financially feasible.

I will also speculate that Dave has been unavailable due to having to serve some time for multiple DUI’s. I hope he can continue his career and revive the show once he gets things squared away. I hope this does not set him back too far.

Dave and Caleb were entertaining and the live chat made the show very fun for me and most of us who watched regularly. They were both very good about keeping up with the chat and making the audience feel like participants. In my experience, the stream with live chat and real time response was more fun than any call in show. To my knowledge, no one else has been able to do the live chat this well, either.

The people who cause the accidents aren't people who have had 4-5 beers or a few glasses of wine over a couple of hrs. It's massively disproportional to the people who are WAY over the limit.

A lot of those at .08 and below are coincidental and not a cause…think of the people who died with Covid not because of Covid but were counted as dying from Covid…same principle

They can count how many more people died during a pandemic than expected, and account for people who died without even getting diagnosed with it in the first place.

This is something that we know about from previous work at understanding estimated flu burden, when more people die of flu than are diagnosed with the flu during seasonal outbreaks.

A lot of people want to believe there is some grand conspiracy out there and not microscopic airborne illnesses that can kill you no matter how strong you are, or what you eat, or how much you exercise or social. I have nothing but empathy for Dave and his family. I used alcohol to mask emotional issues for years until I got a wake-up call and I haven't touched the stuff since. It's just poison. No one will tell you that.

I will pray for Dave that he finds the help he needs. Unfortunately some people have to lose everything before they can self-reflect and understand that the reason their life is the way it is, is due their own poor choices.

I have ZERO sympathy for people who drink and drive. I have had family members and friends get killed by drunk drivers. it is selfish and they deserve every bit of the consequences that come to them for doing it.
