Lost in all the concern about McCoy‘s return timeline is the fact that you mentioned: Redmond is becoming better every week. And the discrepancy between him and McCoy, while still existant, is being reduced every week. He is, at the least right now, an SEC level corner. By season’s end, he will be more than that.

And next year, Redmond and Gibson will be a great CB duo. Just go buy a Star and a Safety in the portal.
I'll be surprised if either Gibson or Carter are on the roster next year. Suspect/hope Heupel is far more active in the portal next time around.

Arkansas’s bread and butter is their run game. We should be much better against the run since we are getting more guys back on the Dline. If we can slow them down running the ball and containing Greene in the pocket we will blow them out of Neyland because their defense is garbage! VOLS 58 pigs 20

What does Tennessee do Saturday

I think the team wakes up, has a nice hot breakfast, comes to stadium by 11am, watches films of Arky, pumps iron, goes through plays sans pads, puts uniforms on, listens to pep talks by the coaches, look in the mirror, head to the stadium, line up to run through the tunnel, yell and scream as they pour through the Power T, get to the sideline and bang each other on the shoulder pads, line up for the kick off, hoot and holler some more, and then take care of Arkansas - one play at a time, dismantling their offense and running straight over their overrated defense on the was to their 5th win.

That's what I think Tennessee does on Saturday.

I think for whatever reason we play down to the level of competition but win the game.
They are a legit team they played the #4 team in the nation toe to toe at Ole Miss Home field, lost 41 to 35. I don't think it will be playing down. I think Arkansas has played pretty good sans the Notre Dame game. They have the players, it will come down to whether Petrino can energize them. If he can, they can play with anybody. I hope they are on the I give up trail like they showed vs Notre Dame.

I think it will be like the USCjr game in 2023. Arkansas will come out swinging in the first half, but it’s gonna get ugly by the time the clock hits 00:00. Similar margin. 38-17, something like that, would be my prediction.

I've been full nega on this one lately. We don't run the ball very well. We tend to make supposedly Swiss cheese defenses look suddenly stingy. Our defense is absolutely awful at getting off the field on third/fourth and long facing a qb who can be a wizard at times. The Hogs have nothing to lose and Petrino has everything to gain. If this weren't at home, I'd call it an L. As it is I think we win a game that's frustratingly close.

Payback must be dealt and then some on Saturday. Remember what the Arkansas loss meant to us last year it kept us out of the SEC title game and hosting a playoff game at Neyland. If we can’t beat these clowns on saturday then some heads need to roll on the coaching staff.
