WHAT??????????And yet the players can still commit penalties. The coach can either have a penalized team or kick them off the team (mandate).
I'm not ignoring personal responsibility and human nature at all (that's what anti public education nuts do)You are still yet to show how the two statements can't both be true. You are ignoring personal responsibility and human nature.
Yea I don’t buy the life expectancy argument. And I don’t view the propensity for many of us to eat and drink ourselves to death to be an indictment of our healthcare system.- It's true that you don't encounter many really overweight French people.
- anything life saving and about anything that's really necessary for quality of life is covered.
- somewhat true but nothing close to UK level waits. It's a point of pride that their system's better than the rosbifs'.
- I know a lot of people that have to use the French system and the feedback is good. Some Dutch and Germans I know are pretty happy with theirs too while the Brits aren't.
You seem to be missing the fact that the coach can/should be held responsible BECAUSE he can take away liberties. He can/should be held responsible because he ALLOWS the penalties to continue. If you have an OL that keeps getting false starts, you bench him. You eventually recruit over him and he's off the team.WHAT??????????
They practice. They minimize........they never fully illuminate. If one player keeps making penalties, that player will be benched....NOT kicked off of the team. Players are incentivized to limit penalties.

I guess the statement "they are the best coaches, but the team never wins" can theoretically be true.
But most would rightfully view the two as incongruent.
Not to answer your question with a question, but trying to gauge your beliefs first… what role do you believe higher education plays in research, innovation, and new technologies? The US ranks top in the world on aspects like:
- Innovation
- Research & Development
- New Technologies
How would removing profit incentive impact those?
The best healthcare system would not result in the people choosing the most unhealthy lifestyle choices.
It's like saying the coaches of the University of X are the best but the team keeps losing because they are by far and away the most penalized team.
Agreed, and funding is being cut by this admin. The fallacy that for-profit healthcare drives innovation is exactly that, a fallacy. This is for several reasons.A good deal
