looking ahead at the red river rivalry… ou is gonna curb stomp tx. kinda feel bad for arch. he might get benched. match up predictor is saying tx wins but i dont see it.
They're lucky they're hosting and that Mateer is out.

The next 3 matchups are at UK, at Miss State, and hosting Vandy. I'm not convinced they won't lose one of those games.

Then they play at Georgia (L), host Arky, then end the season with A&M.

That's definitely 1 more loss. High confidence there's a second loss. Could be 4 losses (Georgia, OU, A&M, and 1 from the rest.)

Did Napier keep his job for another year or just until the next loss?
They have one easy game left on the schedule (Kentucky). They have probable losses to A&M, Ole Miss, and Georgia. They have very difficult home games against Tennessee and Florida State. They have a winnable home game against MSST. If they lose either the Kentucky or MSST games, he will be fired. I think he needs those two, split Tennessee and FLST, and win one of the probable loss games. If he wins six, they have a nightmare decision to make. If he wins 7+ he will be back. Less than 6 he is for sure gone.

Really feel bad for Arch , he was thrown into a no win situation at Texas and the media had him hyped to win the Heisman.. Arch was screwed before first snap of season...
He has more money than any of us will in our lifetime. He makes 3 million a year not counting the millions from endorsements. He won't need to play a down in the NFL and be set for life. Not to mention his family is loaded and he doesn't seem like the type to spend it on blow and hookers.

What's that got to do with the overhype by the Media this season... I don't care how much money he has or had...

Texas and Penn State are most likely out of the playoff already imo. Hard to imagine they won’t each lose at least one more game. I don’t think they’d have the arguments at 9-3
We need Ohio State to put them out of their misery. They have two tough games left (Indiana and OHST). Texas is done. I do not see them beating Oklahoma (Arch against that defense???), Georgia, or A&M. They could also lose to Vandy, ARK, or MSST.

Miami should be #1
And even they are suspect. They have grinders at RB but no game breaker. They lack TE's and that's why good defenses cause them issues. They can be run on, but teams vacate the run too quickly against them. They have 1-2 busts per game in the secondary. They have a coach that turtles up with leads late in games.

Beck is good but he is a frontrunner. If you can get a pick on him early, he tends to throw 2 more.

Texas has a small window but penn st….has a much smaller window..both need a Hail Mary in my opinion

Red River is a neutral site game
