My favorite part of today was watching Pavia lose the game for Vanderbilt multiple times. He won't be humbled by it at all, but at least he has to shut up for a week.

This Cal qb doesn't realize he's allowed to throw it away. He's taken like 50 yards in sacks while rolling out of the pocket with an easy path to throw it away.

By definition, that's a good game. Any game in which your team kicks ass is a good game. Any game your team wins is a good game. When your team is not involved, the definition of good game changes.

Things we learned today?

Joey Aguilar is the best QB in the SEC.

But but but Ty Simpson is elite and the best in the nation if you listen to all the talking heads.

He still starts running when he feels slight pressure. He started running a few times when he had guys breaking open. Also, when teams blitz, his hot routes are open.

On his last TD run, it looked to me like he wasn’t going through his progressions. Instead it looked like he was seeing where the DL was penetrating and where was his escape lane to run the ball.
