I feel you. I got a Wilson Football I bought when my first son was born. That was 2003 and I still got it. They ae the best

Better grip, much easier to throw. And they last longer. As a former hs coach on a limited budget this was very important.

I just learned about "dime" footballs recently. Footballs traditionally get worked over before being used. Roughing, mudding, etc. It takes considerable effort to get the "feel" right and some of those techniques are washed off during rainy games. The dime football is created to not need the work over. They spent a lot of time getting the syn skin, texture, stitching and laces right. Created by a former NFL QB.

Thats super cool. Available only in size9 which is HS/college. NFL balls are bigger around and harder to throw unless you have huge hands. Kinda like MLB using wooden bats to make it harder than college or HS.
