Not sure I'd say "upgraded" at least from a production standpoint...I will say we've got as talented as a PG with a bit better scoring skillset and size.

Ja'Kobi shouldn't be a fall off at PG...and he really should be an upgrade as a scorer from that spot.

It'd be hard to upgrade anywhere over ZZ except scoring. Conducting the offense and penetrating > distributing were as good as I've seen in college in a long time. But ya, his scoring wasn't as consistent.

We’ve crushed portal recruiting for OL. That’s the only reason I say grab the rest form the portal.

Yep, but they might have the dudes on roster to start next year and it's harder to attract OL portal targets without starting spots.

Potentially next year you could have these guys starting (all 5 on roster currently)

LT - Sanders
LG - Sham
C - Sam
RG - Satterwhite
RT - Perry

We also have a 5 star OT coming in, but I think if they feel like they need to add a starter to the OL next year for whatever reason they'll 100% go to the portal. If they're adding anymore HS guys it's for development, imo

seems like they have? i love his film but perhaps they are looking for more of a blocking te hence the Elmore offer?

altho i just watched elmore's tape and he's pretty athletic as well, he plays QB and safety (!) for his team. i like the film seems like a late bloomer

I bet a lot of St Louis Rams fans have changed teams. I'm sure many still support them in LA but probably just as many bitter they left.

I'd immediately dump that team. It shows that ownership doesn't give a crap about fans. One of the reasons I'm less passionate about pro sports. But hey, now they can root for the Chiefs.

Statistically rebounding & scoring would be the main two...Ja'Kobi throughout his career has been strong in those areas. I think the assists numbers won't be matched, usually with a score first PG ya don't see 7+ APG. Could happen though, just from the talent around him this year...BUT that might also be why the assists numbers are lower.

What I'm excited about is 13 on scholarship and being able to scrimmage 5 on 5. I think this team will be deep enough to spread minutes out a lot better than previous years.

If you look at his 247 page, he was first offered by Miss State... in January 2016. Dan Mullen still had two seasons left in Starkville at that point.

This guy's recruiting cycle and collegiate career has spanned a full decade.

Tony Basilio hosted an Arkansas sports writer yesterday who mentioned that the Waltons donate more money to the Mizzou program than to Arkansas.

Several of the Waltons graduated from Missouri and they are originally from there

Elarbee got that room looking right. OL should be good for a few years for sure. I think we see Satterwhite at center and Sam at guard. But who knows?!?! Plus maybe a surprise comes along next year with a year (Perry came out of no where to be one of our better players).

Whoever does our scouting is on top of it. We always seem to find people early or missed before anyone else.

1. they can and will have no issue getting through.... that 2nd one though I'm not sure that's really something the NCAA can do in a free market environment, I expect it gets challenged in court eventually IF it actually gets put into any sort of governing documentation by NCAA.
