The Trump Administration promotes division and political partisanship throughout society, even in places it doesn't have to exist, and shouldn't exist.

Every item is turned political now, with everyone involved forced to pick a side. You can't just be a neutral observer who wants whatever is best for the country as a whole. There must be a winner and a loser.

That sentiment works both ways. Donald Trump is a 79 year old man, who is clearly demonstrating signs of cognitive decline .... but that suddenly is of no importance to the right, after discussing it non-stop while Biden was in office.

I'll go one further.

Trump's decline is marked, and rapid. Those who haven't listened to at least 15 minutes of his rambling, incoherent, repetitive, straying, all over the map irrelevant-to-the-occasion nonsense, cant comment.

Pick 15 minutes of it and if it doesnt deeply worry you then you are past drinking the Kool aid.

Honestly, he doesn’t sound all that different to me now than he did 10 years ago when he’d call in to Susteren’s am TV show.

(That isn’t meant to be a compliment to him, btw.)

Trump has always had an annoying habit of repeating sentences. Lately, however, he will utter the most inane non-sequiturs, which will then lead to some clumsy, out-of-place thought.

Example :

"Funny story I heard ..... Nancy Pelosi is so old, she once attended JFK's inaugural ball. Ya' know .... they say JFK had an affair with Marilyn Monroe. A lot of people think she was murdered too." - Donald Trump

"Mmmmkay ...." - listeners

The NYT had Hasan Piker writing op-eds within the last two weeks. The man who openly called for murdering property owners in the street and who within the last week was signing Bella Ciao on his podcast.

Hard to say anyone is taking their rhetoric to a more extreme level than the mainstream of the left
