Not sure why everybody is so pissed around here. That was a helluva gut check win on the road when things could have gone south fast against a good football team. I’ll welcome the bye week and look forward to us getting better. Not worse.

My only complaint is not stopping Bothwell more. Need to get better at run defense but also that's a testament to how good he is. Great pickup by State

Will getting another DT back healthy fix that? Didn’t seem like anybody could bring him down without help yesterday. He was a beast

Outside of the busted coverage near the end of regulation, the secondary played well. That and the weird play in OT where the intended target was missed by the QB but it just happened to hit another WR in the hands.

We’re obviously short a few pieces. Coordinators know it too. Guys are straining w the hope for a tackle for loss. We don’t have that dead weight in front anymore.

BTW check the replay and the spot after the ref dropped his left foot closer to the 6.

People that trash the defense don’t want to acknowledge short field scores, sacks and pick 6’s they try to discount them.

Yeah, in reality, if we play a clean game, mentioned above, AND don't get two horrible "nothing calls" for offensive and defensive interference, this game is not really that close...but it was, and glad we got out with the W...any W in SEC on the road you take it.

Maybe he is a very good back also factored into it. Of course we could have contained them better, but we did tighten up late. Yes we have to continue to improve but the some of the bashing of the defense has been way over the top. GBO
