Halloween Thread

@larjoranj - as i stated in an earlier post, im changing my decorations up this year. I have a posable skeleton that i want to stand by a grill to look like he’s cooking. Any suggestions on how to keep him standing up/posed?

Here's the other way I stand up skeletons. Cut a length of pvc pipe, taller if you want him to stand very upright, shorter if you want him to be bent more at the knees. If you're not sure cut it long. You can always shorten it later. You want to attach the pipe to the back of the skeleton ( or in this case Home Depot's Evil Pixie ) in at least 2 places to keep the pipe tight to the skeleton. Use zip ties to attach it. Drill holes thru the pvc - run the zip ties thru the holes and around some part of the skeleton and pull it tight. Depending on the skeleton you are using, the backbone and neck may be curved and the pvc may not fit tight. On this Evil Pixie shown below the neck curved away from the spine a lot so I used my heat gun to bend the pvc to the shape of the prop. I'm able to pull the zip tie tighter and keep the pvc very sturdy. No wobble. Drive some conduit in the ground and slide the pvc over it and the prop will stand. After I decide where to place the prop I'll spray paint the pvc whatever color is in the background. Green grass is showing in this pic so I would paint it green. My house is almost white so If I placed it in front of the house the pipe probably would blend in with the white brick. If you have a red brick house you would match that and the pipe will be barely visible during the day and not at all at night.
