That begs the question then, what is DEI a response to? We’ve overcome tremendous hurdles in this country, thanks to people like your dad, so what barrier was DEI implemented to overcome? I’ve never heard of any discrimination cases against the airlines and based on your response it seems like they want diversity for diversity’s sake.Competent black pilots have been flying for the airlines for 50 years. Just because they wanted more blacks doesn't mean they didn't meet qualifications because they were black.My father was a bomber pilot in the USAF and helped spur the hiring of qualified black pilots who otherwise had been passed over for simply being black.
I'm in an advanced dance class for which you could never qualify
And to be clear I am 100% open to having my mind changed on this subject.
